I haven't used my handbag in a few years. Since my kids were grown, I didn't have to lug around as much. I recently bought an Epi Pen as I have a life threatening reaction to cat dander. I can't leave a pen in the car because I'm not always around. Also, they are sensitive to heat, which also means they cannot stay in the car for most of the year. So I had to buy a bag or tote bag. I'm not a fan of the look of a backpack, let alone how easy it is for someone to steal from a bag hanging behind you. Most purses are too big for my needs. I just need to bring a few needed cards, my smartphone, inhaler, epi pen, key and lip balm. If the wallet had a pocket for paper coupons, all the better. This mini wallet can do it all. The zippered portion is large enough to fit anything but a cell phone and still have room. There's another pocket just below the flap when it's open, which is perfect for my large flagship phone. There are enough card slots for maybe twenty cards. I didn't count them all. I only use four or five, so I think I can apply for a few new lines of credit (just kidding). The artwork on this bag is richly colored and beautiful. I like that the bag is light, so the thin adjustable shoulder strap is very comfortable and sometimes I even forget it's there. I recommend any bag from these two brands. This is the third item I have purchased from this brand. Didn't think about waterproofing the first one and I live on the west coast so unfortunately it wore out after about three years of regular water abuse. The second one I still have is in perfect waterproof condition when I bought it, but I just don't want to carry around a medium sized hobo bag anymore. As a bonus, if you want to use it as a clutch you can detach the strap. There are also two narrow compartments. One of them is on the front of the shield. Another inside. I use one for paper coupons (there aren't that many anymore). I use the other to carry some of my spouse's business cards in case anyone asks for them. To recap, this little bag has a lot more room than meets the eye and is very well made.
