Not durable plastic.
I ordered four of these, the boxes were intact, but all the briefcases were cracked, chipped and unusable. Cold weather may have left them prone to chipping, but the plastic feels brittle. They obviously can't stand bumps and dents. I would advise against buying them, especially if they need to be mailed. It's a shame, because otherwise these are exactly the portfolios I was looking for. I think about looking at the cardboard folders again.
