I know chrome picks up fingerprints easily, but this shower head seems passionate about holding them. I'm a big Delta fan and most of the faucets in my house have them. I usually go for brushed steel, but sometimes it just doesn't fit in with the existing bathroom, like in this case. I bought this as a gift for my wife and while she loves it, I've noticed that every time I look at it, there are fingerprints all over it. You wash well enough with some soap, but if you touch the showerhead with clean, dry hands, it leaves fingerprints. This is something to remember if, like me, you hate water stains or fingerprints. The Delta I use in my shower is brushed steel and has a switch to shut off the flow. It doesn't have that feature, but the spray pattern is more even, which is nice. If I were to buy this again I would opt for brushed stainless steel or a darker nickel.
