It's great to have all the ports you need when you only have USB-C and audio on newer Macs.

I mean, what more could you ask for. It has two HDMI outputs that support 4K resolution, allowing you to connect two monitors and multiple USB inputs. Requires ethernet and now I keep this setup in my office and don't have to move around another adapter I had for ethernet so I can connect to my living room. It even has an SD and a microSD slot! This is great because we actually lost our microSD adapter. I am currently using it with my Macbook Pro 2019 16 inch and it works great. It has everything you need and being able to connect to so many devices with it is great.
