Plastic doesn't break, tears easily, it's thick well made plastic. I was happy about that. The problem was that I bought a dresser and bought it to organize my drawer. Well, they didn't completely fill my drawers, and the back of the drawer was about half an inch empty. Also, I feel like the package should have contained more than 4 containers with size options at the advertised price. There isn't much grip at the bottom of the plastic containers, so they slide easily. There should only be a few lids in the package to cover some of them. I would not recommend this purchase.
