I ordered the medium for my 8lb Morkie. She probably could've fit in the small, but I didn't want them to be too difficult to put on or possibly be too tight. I machine washed on delicate cycle in cold water and hung to dry before putting them on her. They washed up great. I ordered 4 other patterns and they are all super cute. For the price, I highly recommend. I usually order her shirts from BaxterBoo, but their PJs were too expensive.UPDATE- the back legs are a bit loose and long, will need to hem them. My dog's legs pop out, unfortunately. I did order a small size to compare, and it was far too small for my dog. Medium fits well but the back legs are baggy.
