later I love the size of this extension. Some complaints in the comments section are that the cord is too short. I read and understand fairly well for an old man so wasn't at all surprised that when I opened mine they had 15 inch cables - just as described. I like having multiple outlets. One each for my cell phone, tablet, laptop, etc. If you expected more, you might have to pack a few clothes instead of too many gadgets. (IMHO) The red light on the strip at night didn't bother me or my wife. I saw it was there and put a piece of tape on it. Viola, problem solved! I haven't had two extensions in a very long time so I can't comment on durability. I see some have had issues with theirs so I'm hoping ours (SURE) will last a while. If you need to plug in a few things but don't have enough room for an outlet, I think this might be the answer, good enough. But if you take 17 electric rechargeable devices with you on vacation, you might have to charge 4-5 of them at once.
