I wish I had read the latest reviews before purchasing this bag. Both cats got sick from this package. When I first opened the package the food was sticky and not as dry as usual. I immediately thought maybe it's because the food is like that. I know I'm stupid if I think that. To make a long story short, I have 2 cats. One is 2.5 years old, the other 1.5 years. The eldest fell ill first. her name is zoe Zoe has diarrhea and then bloody mucus in her stool. the blood was in the stool in the tray and it also fell on my floor so I noticed it clearly. I stopped giving her wet food and only gave her dry food, like this bag, she was getting worse and worse. Then I switched to wet food and she felt better. So I thought maybe Zoe is allergic to the ingredients in that pack because I haven't seen Celine have any symptoms at the same time as Zoe. I also stopped Celine. , my second cat from eating dry food since I found out about Zoya's problem with this food. However, since Celine had no symptoms on kibble, I started feeding Celine only kibble. Immediately after eating this food for a day, Celine had the exact same problem as Zoe. I concluded that my cats were getting sick from this food bag. My guess is that the reason is either the food is not stored properly with temperature etc or the source of this product is not legal meaning the quality of the food is poor. I have never had this problem as I have bought a lot of Revain cat food. Now that I was in the process of writing a review for this product, I found that many people were having the same problem. I really regret not looking at the specific reviews, instead I just looked at the overall rating which is almost 5/5 and trusted it. I cried and felt so sorry for my kids and so angry at how Revane was handling it. Again, I'm very upset, but more importantly, my kids were in a lot of pain. :(
