Review on DEA Products A65006 Transmission Mount by Jason Rosekrans

My Element has been MUCH quieter since I replaced the transmission mount. For almost 2 years I have had problems with a loud bang when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. Same when switching from park to 1. The old mount was so bad that daylight was visible through it (see photo). The job was pretty easy. You can watch a YouTube video that explains how to raise the gearbox slightly to ease the pressure on the center screw. The work took about 90 minutes from start to finish. It was worth it. It's like driving a new car.
