Review on Diesel On Men's Fadelight Gen 4: A Stylish Smartwatch with Heart Rate, GPS, Contactless Pay, and Smartphone Notifications by Joey Makarovski

Does what it says on the tin - Stays where it's supposed to - Decent if typical battery life

The only other smartwatches I've had were the Apple and Samsung; Samsung's latest permutation is currently in use. I'm a security guard like the other reviewer; I have a collection and I wear them, and one of my frustrations with smartwatches is that no matter what "face" you put on them, you can see 99% of them, rooms on the other hand. Well, kudos at this point because that's not exactly the case with this watch. It's definitely different; some will like it, some will not; but I give him credit for standing out a bit. The tape is interesting stuff and once you get used to it the benefit is that it stays in place; does not roll and does not slip; it doesn't come off until you want it! Aside from the color (I would have preferred black), the dial is nice and light; Function is largely driven by the phone app, although you get the standard features you'd expect when away from your phone. Test life: Mine seems a little different. I'm taking a cue from a couple of my other smartwatches, which is pretty typical. I can actually squeeze a few days out of my latest Samsung, but that's not going to happen here. You'll charge it every night, but that's the case with most smartwatches anyway. I agree with the other reviewer that we're all a little tired of all the proprietary charging ports and bases. This is another base you can hook up, but again, it's not unique. The box/presentation is good, so if you're giving it away; it looks pretty cool as it comes in the box. These are good watches.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Doubtful
