Why is it so hard to find forks that actually work? My son is 2.5 years old and we needed real piercing (I don't understand a word) forks. These do their job perfectly. They're sharp enough to pick up food and dishwasher safe. Check! The handle is strong and holds up well. We used Boon sterling silver but it was too expensive. I've seen other 3 piece sets that I like, but really, what kid needs a knife? And even if we're going to teach him how to use one, I doubt we'll need more than one. All I want are good quality forks at a reasonable price and they are perfect. Somehow we always lose baby forks and spoons - they accidentally get thrown away and we end up with 1 fork and a couple of baby spoons. This was a great buy to stock up on forks with the bonus of a bright color so hopefully they don't get thrown away! I ordered them in early May and received the pink ones (as shown in the picture). I didn't care and my son loves them but I know some people are looking for certain colors. In order to get the price of an add-on, you must be prepared to receive a random color.
