Review on 🔋 Sony BC-TRW Battery Charger - Optimal W Series Rechargeable Battery Charger by Christopher Jackson

Although twice the price (or more) than other SONY battery chargers for A6000-6500 cameras, I went with this charger. My previous (non-SONY) chargers died after a few years of little use. Third-party batteries stopped charging and the Wasabi battery began to warp and swell. The battery cannot be easily removed from the camera. I recently bought a new 6500 camera and SONY battery, didn't want to risk damaging another battery. The progressive state of charge is indicated by LEDs. When the LEDs show "full charge" it is only 80% charged. Let it run for an additional hour or more to reach a 100% charge. Recommendations for this are clearly indicated in the accompanying instructions. However, the instructions are printed very small, making it difficult to read. I don't want to try to charge branded batteries with a new SONY charger for fear that other branded batteries may damage the SONY charger.
