Review on Yamaha NS-AW350W All-Weather Indoor/Outdoor 2-Way Speakers - White (Pair): Unparalleled Sound Quality for Both Indoor and Outdoor Listening by Tanya Wright

These speakers are, in my honest opinion, the best floorstanding speakers on the market. Before making this purchase, I did extensive "explored". I visited my local Bestbuy for the first time. I listened to their display of outdoor speakers from Bose, Klipsch, Insignia and Yamaha. Unfortunately, Bestbuy didn't show the Yamaha NS-AW350 or 390 for demo, it was the much smaller NS-AW190. Based on the demo demo, the best sounding speakers from best to worst were the Klipsch, Insignia, Yamaha and finally Bose. I found this odd because Bose products actually sounded great in the Bose store. However, I didn't want to spend more than $300 on a pair of outdoor speakers. So I continued my search at a floorstanding speaker shop in Brea, California. They had a wide range of their products on display. I was very interested in the OSD AP670 but it wasn't on the display. So, according to the seller, I was demonstrating a similar or better speaker. I wasn't overly impressed but I'm willing to take the risk and buy the AP670 if they match the price online. As they are a supplier, manufacturer and wholesaler of their products, I found it funny and strange that Outdoor Speaker Depot could not offer a price that matched the online store they supplied. So I jumped up. Frustrated and tired, I decided to take a chance and buy a Yamaha NS-AW350W for $88. These speakers connect to Zone 2 of a Denon receiver using Monoprice 14/2 CL2 speaker cable. These speakers are the best in terms of price, build quality and most importantly sound quality. If only these speakers sounded good and not great I would send them back. Trust me I know what good speakers sound like. I currently use a B&W Zeppelin Air indoors for convenience and also have a full B&W home theater including 802s. Visit your local Bestbuy Magnolia store and you will be amazed. If not for the sound quality, then for the price! Trust me, thinking of outdoor speakers will save you some time and hassle. I did all the research for you.
