Review on Opalescent PopGrip: Swappable Top Expanding Stand and Grip for Enhanced Phone & Tablet Experience by Mark Cannon

Don't buy fakes!

later Let me start with that. Popsockets are overpriced and damn expensive. I mean $15 for a sticky plastic circle? Why isn't it 7-8 dollars? Well, now I know exactly why. I was trying to save some money and found some fake $6 "pop sockets" that served the same purpose. I don't know how or why other companies can't replicate the quality of Popsockets, but the fakes I bought only lasted 2 days before falling apart completely and weren't even strong enough to hold my phone horizontally. SO. Bottom line, Popsockets is the best brand to buy this type of product. So simple but so useful. Works as a pen and stand, pretty stylish (with interchangeable pads!), and the quality is way better than the competition. I still think they're overpriced for what they are, but I think if you're way better than your competition you can pretty much take whatever you want. I think $10 should be the limit for these things. BUT STILL. These things look beautiful, are extremely useful, and are of a much better quality in terms of strength, durability, and stickiness. Highly recommended but with a scowl at the price hahaha.

Pros
  • Can be moved and attached to most devices and cases (but may not stick to silicone or waterproof cases). Adheres best to smooth hard plastic cases. Sticks to iPhone 11/12; Will NOT stick to iPhone 11/12 Pro or iPhone 11/12 Pro Max without the correct case
Cons
  • I'll add
