Because I travel a lot. I put my laptop in my backpack, but I also put it in this bag for added protection. This is the thickest, strongest/most durable case I have ever seen. The first time I was worried it wouldn't fit my laptop (because its thickness is very close to the size of this box, but it fits perfectly. What I also like is that I don't have to open it like a briefcase, but a zip on the side to open the bag and put it in my laptop.I'm having trouble finding a bag,this works very well.There is also a large side pocket for a charger and mouse.I recommend
