After purchasing three different shower heads from our local Home Depot, my wife went to Revain to explore other options. We have a well and our water pressure does not match that of the municipal waterworks. Our water pressure is around 50psi, as opposed to the usual 65psi or higher, and that's without the pressure reducing valve. When it came to rinsing my hair my wife was so frustrated she threatened to cut it off so I had to find an alternative shower head. We bought three different Revain shower heads. The first 2 I tried were very popular brands like the ones you find at Home Depot. We are just like everyone else. I lost hope and fell in. I was impressed from the start when I opened the plain box it came in. There was a handwritten note from the seller thanking me for our purchase. While all of these types of heads are made out of ABS plastic, the body of this head appears to be quite solid, and the tubing that connects to the head is made out of a lightweight metal that is very flexible. It came with very simple instructions on how to remove the flow restrictor, which I did right away. I was impressed that there was even a small roll of teflon tape in the box. All showerheads are installed the same way and anyone with a little know-how can replace a showerhead. I always recommend protecting the pliers or wrench with a thin rag to prevent the tool from scratching the head surface. I installed it in less than 10 minutes and when I turned it on I was pleasantly surprised to find that it put out a nice powerful stream compared to everyone else. We are returning two others and I can be sure that my wife's beautiful long hair will be around for a while! Goodbye!
