Update: stopped working after just one year. My son is very careful with electronics so I have no idea what happened to his brush. I bought 3 different models and this is the only one that no longer works. I know my daughter's cheaper Minnie Mouse model was thrown away many times and still works. I was fully expecting to replace her sooner than him. My son loves the black color and thinks the brush is cool. He is 8 years old and doesn't mind using it. He thinks that brushing your teeth makes brushing your teeth easier. We don't use Bluetooth at all, which is why we bought this model. It's just not that convenient. We bought 2 other adult ones with Bluetooth and don't use it either. Would definitely recommend even though his teeth look brighter.
