Our dogs have severe allergies. I've resorted to cooking all of their food and they only eat what I've learned through trial and error that doesn't result in scratches and smelly, oozing sores. Even grain-free pellets make them itchy, so I suspected preservatives were the enemy. Therefore, when I saw this brand, I did not order a small bag to test. Although they love the food I prepare for them, it doesn't seem to hold them back as they are always asking for food. So I started by mixing 1/2 cup of this into her food and then gradually increasing the dose, gradually increasing the dose. They seem full. And absolutely NO itching or hot spots. I'm going to try to gradually phase them out of homemade food and transition them to more or just that food and see what happens. This food has eliminated expensive vet bills and my dogs are doing much better. Took them to the vet and she was AMAZED at how great they looked without any meds or steroids. Our friends and neighbors also notice the difference. I just signed up for auto delivery of this one and her goodies. I'm so impressed! Would give this more stars if I could!
