This is a nice, soft medium weight blanket. While we have heavier throws with fleece on one side, this lighter weight throw is nice for wrapping around one's shoulders, or as a second lighter blanket to cuddle up with at night. Why the three stars then, instead of five? Because the instructions that come with the blanket said you are not to put it in a dryer. I ask you, how am I to dry a fairly large throw then? On a clothes line? I don't have a clothes line. Drape it over the deck and hope for the best? It's been raining all week. That I cannot stick this blanket in the dryer after washing it really limits how functional it is for me. While it is a nice, comfortable, soft blanket- the instruction not to throw it in the dryer really does it in for me. There are lots of throws that can be put in the dryer. I would suggest one of those.
