Here's a dilemma. You have an amazing 4K TV or a great Epson projector. But then you also have a collection of old devices. Old school game consoles, DVD players, VHS-to-DVD burners, etc. You're going to be out of luck if you hook them up to a new display device. But this adapter saves you all the headaches. Now you can connect standard audio/video cables to the adapter and simply plug it into the HDMI port. Now you can play whatever you want without connection problems. Using this special adapter is very simple and ready to use. One thing you absolutely must keep in mind. And it's not the adapter's fault. The point is that the overall video quality of your game or VHS player etc. will not improve with either an adapter or a 4K TV. So when you play Altered Beast or Golden Ax on your Genesis, the graphics still look silly compared to today's games. But again, this has nothing to do with the adapter itself, only with the output of the device used. As far as it works as an adapter, absolutely five stars.
