I bought a turquoise turntable stand and I love it! It's heavy and feels very strong and durable and I'm not worried about my records breaking the bottom shelf. Assembly is easy and everything is clearly described in the instructions. Took me about 45 minutes, but that's only because I checked, rechecked, and rechecked before following the steps. I gave assembly instructions in my title so here it is: The last 2 steps ask you to attach the metal frame. This is the base of the cab floor and THEN you will be prompted to attach the metal frame that completes the front of the cab. I recommend reordering these last two steps as it is very difficult to attach the frame to the front after the base is attached - the base blocks screwdriver access so you can't drive the screws straight in or easily power on the front frame . If you're using a long screwdriver this might not be a problem, but I had a shorter screwdriver that was useless. I removed the base, attached the front frame, and then reattached the base. It's much easier for me to do it this way. I am very happy with my purchase and would buy this piece again for another turntable in another room or even as a gift for someone. Very modern lines with a mid-century feel.
