I have a king bed with 4" memory foam on it and originally had the same duvet in navy blue (King size - size is 120" x 120") and although it was such a nice oversized quilt, it didn't fit in the washing machine. I like to wash my sheets often and because they didn't fit well in the washing machine I didn't feel like they came out clean. I've tried other quilts, which were lighter and easier to machine wash but they were oddly too light but very hot, too hot for a Florida winter (where it's around 70 degrees during the day and slightly cooler at night) I missed the weight of this blanket and how it never got hot. In fact, I got a little cold in it at times. So I bought it in queen-size red, which is actually still perfect for my king-size bed (but I turn it so it's sideways to side e becomes longer). The queen size is perfect for my double bed, has a nice heaviness and the perfect temperature! My fiancé doesn't sleep on blankets anymore because they are too hot, he really loves this blanket! I'm so glad I decided to buy this comforter again in Queen! If you're on the fence, I highly recommend it!
