From experience

I was hesitant about how many stars to give as I enjoy putting it together and it has many good features and I'm happy with most of the results. But I think for most people that would be a big problem. I tinker a lot and had to use what was on hand and I added my own preferences. For example, I made paper flowers for beaded vases. The details for this are very small and require a lot of concentration and attention to detail. I used lots of sharp, rounded toothpicks to hold the beads to make vases and bottles. They wanted you to use the smallest labels I've ever seen on bottles. Tried 2 and when I showed it to my husband he didn't see them. There's really no reason to use them as everything is inside the building and difficult to see. I didn't attach the 2 roofs as I did all the work on these small parts and nothing with the roofs is visible. The underwater sections are cute, but you can't leave them unattended. Almost nothing can be seen in the upper room. You want a bunch of things to be made out of white coated wire. Gluing this stuff was such a nightmare that I didn't use it for the underwater stairs or even some of the chairs, instead I used round and flat toothpicks. Underwater I positioned it however I liked and added some horn moss between the rocks on the building. The dry green flowers they gave were not enough for everything. If you try this you will end up with glue all over the place as the pieces are very small. But with a little work, you can remove most of it. The instructions are in English with good photos, but some of the sizes given are wrong and I missed a few tiny details. But I was able to make them with toothpicks and other materials I had. I enjoyed the creativity even if it was so small to work. For the fish, you can cut them out, but I used some fish stickers I already had. Their colors were lighter and I didn't have to glue them. If you have a sticker making machine I would suggest using it for the fish and birds that you stick onto the clear cover. I really like what I got, except for one thing: a dust cover. It was difficult to glue, and you can't do without glue getting where you don't want it. Even though I used clear glue it dries less clear than I wanted and you can see it in all the seams as well as where I couldn't remove it where it has slipped. When it's done, it's attractive, very cute, and the light makes it all. With all the wires I couldn't hide the wires and battery compartment at the back of the house, but most of the wires can be hidden. I left the battery case on the table behind him. If you enjoy working on very small things (a magnifying glass came in handy) and are interested in other crafts, then I think you'll enjoy working on this, just give it a week or two.
