I ordered these shoes a size 4 to try on my 2 year old. I received a size 1 that says 9-20 pounds. That's quite a weight range. Thought it wouldn't hurt to try them on my 7 month old who is just over 18lbs and wears a size 3 in tiny huggies and pampers. Size 1 is slightly shorter than size 3 of other brands. . It actually fits well enough that I've used a few of these now. I think size 2 would fit better especially if he poops in as it will most likely go up his back. But judging by that, they might even be a whole size bigger than Huggies and Pampers. So unfortunately I will be giving this box to a friend who has a newborn. Too bad, because these diapers are incredibly soft. From the outer layer to the lining - silky smooth. My hands get very dry in the winter and my fingers sometimes get caught in the outer layer of other diapers. Not so with these. These are definitely high-end diapers! However, the price reflects this and it's hard to justify paying a higher price for it. However, when compared to other "natural" diapers like Honest, they win by a wide margin. The only feature that would really make them *perfect* diapers and worth paying more for is a pocket on the back of the waistband, like little snaps, to keep feces from being spilled. . I would probably switch if they had it for her.
