Made in China Chinese made car bulbs are junk and short lived in my opinion. I bought these for my 2006 Beetle because they get me the quickest and the Hella brand is original for VW. I had to be patient and choose the Sylvania brand, which I am very happy with. The packaging of these Hella pears is terrible, thin cardboard, thin plastic seal. The lamps really rang, I'm shocked they didn't break. The lamps themselves look cheap. I thought Hella was a high end brand? My advice: avoid lightbulbs from China. Lamps from the USA, Europe and Mexico surpass them in quality and service life.
