VERY COTTON. I assembled a bike for my excited 2 year old just for her to ride and couldn't ride because it was so weak. It was like it was a static display and not for driving, bending right-to-left every time she tried to kick it, making it unwieldy or even unmanageable. Yes, I assembled it correctly and tightened the fork properly, the lack of structure is evident on the reddish body of the bike. A total waste of money and I was disappointed my daughter wasn't able to enjoy the bike. Big bikes are still too big for her, but this one was the perfect size.
