I use my husband's Amazon account. I wear thick thermal socks with my shoes. So it was a bit uncomfortable, but not as uncomfortable as when your toes get pinched and your feet go numb in the heels. The material is stretchy. That way my little finger wasn't too cramped either. So I just wear normal socks with these shoes. I wear shoe size 8 or 8.5 and my shoe size is 39. I have wide feet. My feet are actually under size 8, but most shoes are too narrow for my feet. They feel light and supportive. The heel doesn't hurt the first day. All day I run after an energetic 3 year old. This is a good buy for me.
