I bought these to smooth me out under a bright colored pair of dress pants made of thin fabric (meaning you could see everything I didn't want seen!). They worked great for that, shaped me up and smoothed me out nicely. I love that they go past my knees so I don't have that stupid seam line right in the mid-thigh that other versions have (who designed that anyway, hello?!) However, if there's a low waist version I wish I would've gotten that instead. The high waist rolled down, flopped over, and bunched up every time I bent over, sat down, or moved, basically. Very annoying. The fabric is thick enough to be strong, but not so thick that I can't wear these in summer. I'm going to look for a low waist version from this same company.
