Thrifty little gem for Philmont
Bought this for a scout trip to Philmont and have used it for our shakedown campout. It had no problem holding an 8qt pot and had plenty of BTUs to get the water boiling in quick order. We shall see how well it works at Philmont, but you really can’t beat the price and performance of this little gem which is thrifty indeed.
- The compact size makes this stove easy to store in your backpack or camping equipment
- The heat output may not be strong enough for certain types of cooking.
