The headlight is made of quality parts. I took it apart and the front reflector is a solid 1/4" machined block of aluminum, not a piece of reflective plastic. The reflector is also well designed with an LED emitter at the focal points. The housing itself is a block of aluminum with cooling fins. All screws together with gaskets to protect from dust and water.There's a ton of thermal paste between the LEDs and those aluminum parts and the circuitry is held firmly in place with epoxy., but doesn't cause any complaints and shows excellent heat dissipation.Only weak point is where the cable enters the housing.I wouldn't stress it too much.Excellent light but I can't give four stars because the headlamp mount is useless.The headlamp mount just dumps the light directly from this position shine down or 30 degrees up he can only point down to watch you have to find a way to install it on your helmet if you wish. The bike rack is a little flimsy, but it held up despite many hard knocks. However, you can't steer it properly because the mount slips to allow it to go straight, then you hit a bump and it pitches down 10 degrees, then up and so on. But remember, this lamp EXPLODES! Tons of light. Honestly, full power is too bright when people come at you. They will curse you. I only use this setting when I'm alone in a dense forest. In most cases, one LED is sufficient. I have found that I can use around 90 minutes and several days in 1 LED mode with all LEDs on.
