I've been looking for inverters and chargers for my caravan/camper van for a long time and am trying to find a simple solution for camping and charging the battery. I had an inverter but after a weekend of use I kept having to pull out another device to charge the battery. It was difficult to disconnect the inverter, connect the charger and put everything back together after charging. This device has a built in switch, so it does both. When running on batteries it acts like any inverter and gives you 120VAC, but this device lets you plug it in too. Time. This device also offers some nice features like the ability to charge all types of batteries and even has the technology to charge even those batteries that other chargers can't charge because the battery is too low. Another feature I liked is the remote display mount so you can easily place it to show your battery status. This is a good quality all in one solution.
