Review on GLL 1157 BAY15D 5730 20 SMD Amber/White Switchback 🌟 Turn Signal LED Light Bulbs 3.8W 12V: Super Bright 600 Lumens! by Greg Boulden

Very robust reverse LEDs for the price. The installation was done on a 2015 Kia Soul and initially required no resistors (hyperflash was a problem but other than that the bulbs worked fine, no errors or lights on the dashboard). However, after adding LED bulbs to the headlights, the shifter bulbs began flashing rapidly instead of staying on in DRL mode. This was fixed with two 24w 6 ohm resistors (this page recommends that 50w 6 ohms be used but my local AutoZone only has 24w resistors. I'll update when they do eventually fail, but now they work fine and without hyperflash!). The bulbs are easy to install, just make sure the top/bottom electrode lines up with the old bulb (when removing the bulb just mark what goes where on the body as I don't think most of these are considered positive be marked / negative). ). Make sure before you put the bulb back in the case! I didn't and my lightbulb slammed into the case itself, what a headache trying to get it out lol. The color is around 6000-6250k I would say as I can see very little difference with my pre-installed 6500k LED headlights. Although it's very close to 6500k. The amber color of the LEDs is a beautiful bright orange color, not the less intense yellow that many standard bulbs produce! I personally like this color better and it goes well with the stock Soul rear turn signals, but if your car has a slightly yellowish rear turn signal, you will probably notice a difference between them and your stock bulbs.
