I got this to put outside on my shed, but it is nice enough that you really can use it inside the home. It is presented in a rustic shabby-chic style, and has a large glass middle piece that is brightly colored, and held in place by a one inch border made of colored, and (slightly rusted-looking*) metal. *It is not actually rust, but small sprayed flecks of brown, which give it a weathered appearance.The only thing I didn't like was that the only way to hold it up was a single small triangle loop on the back of the fish through which you can insert a screw into the wall. I wasn't impressed by this because it doesn't allow you to place it at an angle, unless the screw head pushes against the bracket tightly enough to hold it steady, which would make it pretty fragile. Overall, though, it is nice.
