I have a Sea Breeze fan that dropped the original remote and broke it. went to Lowes because Harbor Breeze is their signature brand, spoke to a Lowes representative, good luck ordering a genuine part for these fans. Bought this one instead, took it out of the box, put the batteries in and it worked perfectly, didn't even have to change the code
