This tower was very easy to assemble. All that was needed was the hex wrench that came with the revolver. The instructions were easy to follow, all the parts were labeled correctly and it only took me about an hour to complete. I have a large kitty and he fits 13" x 13" sleeping pillows. It fits in a hammock, but I haven't tried the basket yet. The turret is really solid, especially considering the materials are chipboard material. Please note that the shelter does not have solid walls. It has a solid top, a solid bottom, and four supports that hold the top and bottom together. It's like a small rectangular tent. It's durable, but I was surprised, so I'm including that information in the review. I am very happy with my purchase. I'm wondering if I should have bought "Hey Brother 63" multi-story cat tree, royal cat apartment with cozy perches, sturdy pet tower cat house." But it's probably just that I want to spoil my kitty more.
