Purchased a size 7-9 for my very slim eight year old medium sized girl to wear under her Halloween costume. First impression is that they were quite heavy and thick. I had to help my daughter dress them without throwing them in a pile. She said they were very comfortable and decided to wear them as pajamas the first night we had them. She thinks they look like "mannequin legs" without socks - her words. She's wearing knee-high stockings and you can't tell she's wearing pantyhose. I know she gets a lot warmer when we treat her to candy.
