We bought one of those mini ipazzport bluetooth keyboards to use with a stereo receiver, TV and Fire TV flash drive. Overall, the device looks pretty well built and is the perfect complement to the second-gen Fire TV remote. In addition to the usual Bluetooth functions, there are eight learning buttons that send IR commands. This should allow you, for example, to program TVs and receivers to turn them on and off, in addition to adjusting the receiver's volume and possibly controlling some inputs. It seems that 8 programmable buttons is more than enough. Unfortunately, the remote control came with a defect. We managed to program it with some difficulty, but it couldn't hold a charge straight out of the box and once the initial charge was depleted we couldn't recharge it. This one should have come back. We have ordered a second one. Unfortunately, it also came with a defect. It is able to hold a charge but cannot learn any of the IR functions, even those the previous remote was able to learn before it died. Thinking that the TV remote might be the problem, I tried several other remotes as well. None of them have been learned. So it looks like this one is coming back as well. I'm not sure yet if we'll be buying another one as it's unlikely that two products in a row will fail unless there's an obvious flaw in the manufacturing process.
