Cuts unevenly

Lettering is thinner than it appears on the die. Nice writing though. Some areas of the die will not fully cut through the cardboard. tried different papers and used two different punching machines. I can save about 1/3 of the diecuts by snipping off the uncut portion with scissors. I would have returned the die cut if I hadn't thrown away the packaging.
