The silicone ear tips only direct the Oculus sound to your ears, but they are only earmuffs and don't touch your ears so that ambient noise these can be heard. I like them, but at some point I will buy standard headphones to protect myself from extraneous noise. In addition, they are easily removable and interchangeable and can be knocked off during intense exercise or while playing. I understand they didn't fall off, but the soft silicone isn't fixed.
