I bought these to protect my great grandfather's table that my kids use in my breakfast room. I wanted something clear so I could still see the table myself. This is a unique 50's style table that also doubles as a card table when you slide the top down so I didn't want food and spilled drinks to fall into the gap in the felt surface where the two tops meet. Trust me when I say they use and abuse it! He survived a 6-year-old boy, a 10-year-old girl and a teenager. They do all their activities and schoolwork on it and after over a month of heavy use it's still very clear! I like the stitched border around the edge. Worth the price!
