Great excellent professional controller. Yes, Wii U recognizes it as PRO CONTROLLER. I prefer to use it instead of a gamepad as it's very comfortable and responsive. The buttons are very durable and the tactile sensations when pressed are pleasant and accurate. I was very surprised by the quality of this third party device. The joysticks are also very nice. I found the battery to last a very long time. Battery 300mAh. I have used the controller for Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D Land, Super Smash Bros U, Bayonetta 2, Assassin's Creed III, Luigi U, Pikmin 3, Pokken Tournament, Res Evil Rev, Hyrule Warriors. Works with any game compatible with pro controllers. You can't beat the price! I highly recommend this unit and will be buying more!
