Review on 🐱 Blue Buffalo Wilderness High Protein Grain Free Kitten Dry Cat Food: Natural Chicken Recipe for Growing Kittens by Nagasree Monee

Bloody Diarrhea in a Day

I gave 5 stars for the quality of the ingredients but I am concerned that something else in this food is not as good for her. I started feeding my 2.5 month old kitten this Blue Wild kitten food less than a week ago thinking I was giving her a better quality and therefore a healthier life. I also bought several packs of blue buffalo treats...one for each taste. The day after I added some of this to her old meal, and yes, some blue buffalo treats. She wasn't thrilled either, not crouching down to rummage around like she usually does with food and treats. I thought she was probably confused because her food has a new smell. She certainly wasn't thrilled with the blue treats, she didn't go crazy smelling them. The same applies to the food to which this review refers. (I figured since everything is made by the same company, in case anyone else noticed other similar symptoms, other parents would want to know what my sweet little girl was experiencing... They would know it was food/blue desert/blue buffalo was). The day after tomorrow she had her first available appointment at our local vet clinic. I hope it's just an intolerance to the ingredient and not something that is terribly damaging to her body. I'm glad I found out so quickly, otherwise I would have actually poisoned her with something her body just can't take. (I'm not saying this food is poisoned! It might just cause a nasty allergic reaction!) It's probably perfectly safe for 98% of your pets, but not for this little girl. Like milk, soy…. for people who are allergic, it is uncomfortable after ingestion.
