I bought this as a birthday gift for my 21 year old daughter. Her birthstone is said to be an amethyst for June, but this website lists it as a moonstone, so I figured it was one. supposedly authentic, it would be different and nice since she has no moonstone jewelry yet. Well, when it appeared it was so small I had to use glasses to see it properly, and the "real" moon rock looked like pure colored glass. Very disappointed. The silver chain was also of very poor quality and I definitely expect it to turn an awkward color after a month. The actual size of the pendant was about half the size shown in the picture which is a shame as my daughter prefers larger pendants with long chains. It's good that I gave her more than one jewelry gift because the rest is as nice as advertised.
