So anyone who has tried machine quilting knows that a pair of handy gloves comes in handy! To the point where you shouldn't even try to quilt without them because you'll kill your shoulders and end up with a much rougher looking stitch. That being said, what were they thinking when they designed the traditional "sewing/quilting gloves"! I mean as long as you don't have to pick up/tamper with anything small (thread, scissors, pins) it's fine. Needless to say, I decided I needed grippy fingerless gloves. First I kept coming across the ones where the finger splits to 1/3 the height of the finger. I felt like I needed to get as close to my fingertips as possible. About 8 pages looking for fingerless gloves (sometimes the search results are correct, sometimes it takes an extra cup of coffee because it takes a while to get what you're looking for). I stumbled over them. The reviews were pretty good and the price was amazing compared to "sewing gloves" so I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! They have a great grip that is way better than actual quilting gloves. They also work well as a replacement for my winter driving gloves that didn't have grips. They fit well and are snug but not too tight but if I decide to share a set of his driving gloves with my husband it might need a little stretching. As sturdy as they seem, they seem to be able to handle it with no problem.
