I purchased these radios for use at live events. I was hoping for an affordable pair of reliable radios. I was wrong. The radios themselves are well designed and easy to use and can be gifted to someone with little radio experience. The earpiece seems to work quite well and the reception is clear. Here the pluses end. The kit they sent me only included an antenna so I was limited to using just one radio for the first few events. I ordered a set of antennas, then prepared a second radio and successfully made a clear call from one of my handsets to the other. Then I decided to top up the account and put the radio away for the next event. After only one charge with the battery charger on, battery acid will begin to leak from radio battery #2. Radio Murder #2. While this is a lot on paper, do it at your own peril as all you could get is a working radio and a lot of trouble like me. In my respectful opinion, this company needs to put together their own quality control.
