Review on πŸ’‘ Revolutionizing Lighting: CMARS Candelabra Dimmable Changing Chandelier Unveiled! by Stephanie Hughes

Comparable to Hue and Wiz at huge savings

The lighting was incredibly easy to set up using the Smart Life app for iOS. The bulbs also offer Hue or Wiz compatible color options, including different shades of white. Tuning: As usual with most smart bulbs, the power supply must be restarted three times to put it into tuning mode. I was able to install all seven candelabra lights and the app recognized them on the first try using apps that add light and then using the automatic search method. As opposed to just adding them to the app one at a time, as has been the case with other brands in my experience. If you have a router with 2.4 and 5GHz options, make sure your phone is connected to your 2.4GHz connection to set it up. After setting up the bulbs, I renamed each bulb from "Overhead Master 1" to Seven and then created a group called "Master". overhead. This allowed me to turn on the entire collection of bulbs - with a single command - you can also control each bulb in the fixture individually. However, and I'll mention it again below, if you import lightbulbs by finding them in the Alexa app, you'll see all the lightbulbs, but again you'll need to organize them into a room or group in Alexa. If you don't want to create a group twice and just want to use the Alexa app, you don't need to do that for the Smart Life app. To add lightbulbs to the Alexa app, I opened the Alexa app and went to Instruments, Extras, Headlights. I selected "Other" for the brand and then selected the auto-detect feature. I have to say I've had smart bulbs for a number of years and as an early user the Alexa app didn't seem that easy to recognize or import bulbs at first, but Revain has really improved the app. So everything went smoothly. I also bought these bulbs for my dining room chandelier as they come in a candelabra style. Hue sells a candelabra bulb, a bulb costs about $49 each. Price, quality and functionality make buying this brand an easy task unless you like wasting money. Since Philips launched the Wiz series, I've personally stopped buying Hue bulbs. Also, my Echo Show has a built-in hub, which makes things a lot easier since you don't need a Hue bridge. Sun. However, I'm not sure if Revain recognizes them all or if you need a dedicated hub like some products do. For me it's about controlling the light with an echo dot or a show by voice. The Smart Life app is a bit clunky when it comes to choosing colors and automating settings. However, if you can also control them in the Alexa app, that's a moot point. Again, the Alexa app doesn't import "groups" from Smart Life, so you'll need to create your own rooms or groups in Alexa to voice control a group of lightbulbs. Therefore, you can skip the grouping of lights in the Smart Life app as you only have to repeat it in Alexa.
