01/21/21 * I bought a Summer Ass Leather Baselayer for $79 and while it could have been softer it also cut into my shoulders and arms where the sleeve was cut off so I returned it and some of them bought these. At first I didn't understand why people wear base layers, but after riding in the cold and then freezing from sweat I decided to look into it. I wanted an Assos Skinfoil but wanted a cheap one to see if I liked it before skipping the $60 base layer. After using it indoors on the treadmill and outdoors for a week, I'm pissed I didn't use it sooner. It makes a huge difference and doesn't make you much hotter, hot and adds some warmth when it's cold outside and helps you deal with sweat and catch colds from it. I will definitely be buying 1 of these again but in black and maybe more to have 2 of each color so they don't get out of hand with daily wear and constant washing. There is no shrinkage problem if you use a laundry bag and hang dry and use cold water for delicate fabrics and also remember to mark the rinse cycle to remove the soap. All the Way.
