I saw this at the factory last year and had to have it. It was too big to take with me, so I ordered it when I got home - a starter kit. I told the whole family I needed a kit and everyone jumped in and last year I had a full kit. I published it with such pride and continued to call it my Irish birth. Someone on Revain asked if it was made in Ireland and I replied 'Yes, I saw it in the shop'. Then someone replied it was made in China and 'designed' in Ireland. I got in touch with Bellick and after a bit of pretense, got someone to admit it was made in China. My heart has been broken. It's not authentic. You can buy as many cheap Chinese nativity scenes as you like and I felt very cheated that it wasn't mentioned on the box or even mentioned in the store. It's beautiful, but I have VERY different feelings posting my birth in China this year.
