and problematic driving that I am returning it. The charger has a safety feature that shuts off at high temperatures to prevent the phone from frying. Sounds good as long as you don't have to park your car in a sunny, hot spot. When you get back in the car and put the phone down it doesn't jam because it's an automatic clamp that needs a power source and it turned itself off because it was too hot. This is very problematic when you are driving in unfamiliar terrain and need to connect your phone to use GPS. Even if you're willing to damage the mount by finger-tightening the clamps, you still need power to keep the release button on the drive end functional. This forces you to use the air conditioner to cool your phone, even if you can do without it yourself. Such a waste of gas. Trigger sensitivity was an absolute hurdle. Even a light touch will release the phone and you might not notice until it's too late and your phone flies out and you have to try to catch it with one hand while driving with the other. I also noticed that when the air conditioning runs up and you press the button exactly, the phone is released as well. So you should turn on the air conditioning just enough to keep the phone and mount cool, but not so high that the mount releases the clips by itself. This isn't the kind of problem anyone needs when driving.
