Review on PHUNAYA Floating Shelves Mounted Practical by Frances Johnson

The first thing that surprised me was the small box. I didn't know you had to build it yourself. I just think for the price I would expect it to be finished already. The wood is light, which makes it easy to hang, but the wood is poorly (cheaply) finished. For me it was like never sanded wood. Very split and raw feeling. There were a few shavings in the wood that formed after painting which made me feel like they shouldn't have just thrown it in a box of metal parts, but who am I? The whole thing is pre-drilled, but it would still be quite difficult to assemble without a power tool. For the price, I feel like I could buy these items at a hardware store (most of them have you carving wood there) and scale them up to my liking. The only reason I went this route was for a small protection bar. I will take a few minutes and consider whether I even want to pick this up or return it.
